Tom has over 18 years experience in direct and digital marketing. Tomâ€™s expertise lies in the development of media buying strategies, lead generation and digital presence through search engine marketing, social media, display advertising, affiliate marketing and email marketing. Tom began his career in direct marketing at Publishers Clearing House in 1998 after graduating Magna Cum Laude from Long Island University. Tom quickly moved through the ranks from a Purchasing Assistant to Planning and Forecasting Manager. After 2.5 years at PCH he moved on to Viacom for a more technical role. At Viacom, Tom created multiple business applications to increase the business intelligence of their publishing division, Simon & Schuster. Tom earned his graduate degree in Information Technology from New York University. In 2004, Tom joined Hot Rocket Marketing as Director of Business Development. In 2005, Traffix Inc, run by CEO Jeffrey Schwartz, acquired Hot Rocket Marketing. Tomâ€™s primary focus became the creation and management of online lead generation via search engine marketing, banner advertising and media arbitrage. Tom was directly responsible for managing a $1,200,000 quarterly media budget across multiple digital properties. In 2008, Traffix merged with New Motion Inc. Tom was promoted to Vice President of Data overseeing the data acquisition and marketing units responsible for over $20,000,000 in annual revenue. Shortly after, Tom left to form BabylonSolutions, LLC, a boutique online marketing agency for businesses looking to begin or expand their digital presence. Babylon rapidly grew, generating over $2,000,000 in revenue in the first year. Tom along with his former CEO, Jeffrey Schwartz and colleague Stephen Golub have partnered to found Digital Direct Advertising. Tomâ€™s current focus is performance based lead acquisition for our clients through search engine marketing, social media marketing, email marketing and strategic partnerships.
