Aldi Haryopratomo is the CEO of GO-PAY Group. Prior to joining GO-PAY, Aldi was the CEO and Co-founder of Mapan (previously Ruma), a social enterprise that recruits and trains thousands of low-income entrepreneurs to provide services to their communities through a phone or android device. The majority of the entrepreneurs are small shops and the services that they provide include prepaid airtime, electricity payments, Nielsen-like market intelligence service, blue collar jobs information, and other value added services. After winning numerous awards such as Harvard's Social Enterprise Competition, Mapan had managed to obtain investment from top Silicon Valley firms like Grameen Foundation, Omidyar Network and Unitus Impact Fund. Aldi grew Mapan's organization from inception in 2009 to 1200+ employees today and had served over 1.5 million customers through a network of over 10,000 micro-entrepreneurs. Prior to Mapan, Aldi worked at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), and was an early employee at Kiva.org, a San Francisco based non-profit organization, and the UNDP an advisor to the Tsunami Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Body. He graduated with Distinction from Purdue University's Computer Engineering program and has an MBA from Harvard Business School.
